Veronica is a Registered Senior Psychologist with extensive experience in working with adults from various backgrounds.  She is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is also a Member of the Australian Psychological, Society (MAPS).  She has experience in working across a broad range of mental health settings including government as well as private practice. She is person centred, warm and friendly and likes to support clients in bringing out the best in them.  

Veronica has a broad range of experience in working with clients holistically and across different lifespans and transitions.  She likes to work using a directive and collaborative approach with clients to empower them on their journey of self discovery in order to enhance resilience.

As a Psychologist Veronica enjoys facilitating and enhancing a sense of safety, belonging and integration into peoples lives by supporting them to feel connected within themselves. She also supports clients to seek meaning and perspective about their past and assist them to live fulfilling lives in the present and to looking forward to the future.

Veronica is trained in Cognitive behaviour Therapy (CBT) and several other evidence-based approaches including other more traditional styles of therapy. She is also a qualified Hypnosis Practitioner and uses this as an adjunct to therapy. She is also bilingual and is fluent in both English and In Spanish.

Veronica is motivated to create a warm and safe place for psychological counselling to support her clients while working with the team at Ethos Psychology.
