Fees and Rebates

The standard fees for a clinical hour (50 minutes) are $220 with a Registered Psychologist and $265 with a Clinical Psychologist, payable prior to or at the end of the session by cash, card or bank transfer. A reduced fee may be negotiated for concession card holders or other exceptional circumstances.

You may be eligible for a rebate of $93.35 (Registered Psychologist) or $137.05 (Clinical Psychologist) per session from Medicare. You are required to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan alongside your referral letter to qualify for this service. Please discuss this further with your GP and you may need to book a double appointment with them to arrange these documents.

Rebates can be claimed by: using the Medicare App, sending your receipt along with a Medicare Claim Form or visiting your local Medicare Office.

Some private health insurances cover a rebate per session. Check with your provider for more information on this as each insurance cover varies.

There are additional fees for support documents or reports that you may require. The additional fees are applied due to the supplemental work that goes into the completion of these legal documents. Some of these include attendance letters, letters of support, VOCAT reports, Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI) and cancellations and no shows.
